We are so excited to announce that all RVLA Scholars are eligible for the following college programs:

Seattle Promise Scholarships!!! ​

-Free tuition at any of the Seattle Colleges: North Seattle College, Seattle Central College or South Seattle College for up to two years, 90 college credits or a student's first degree, whichever comes first.
​
-Equity scholarships, which provide flexible funding to students, for books, transportation, housing, etc. for those with financial need.

-Student support and advising beginning in the junior year of high school and lasting through completion of a degree, certificate, credential or transfer to a four-year institution.

​Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP) ​

The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP) lets you learn if you’ll be admitted to Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, The Evergreen State College, University of Washington Tacoma, Washington State University or Western Washington University before you even apply! 

1. You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

2. You have completed or are on track to complete by fall 2024 all the College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs)

If all of these are true, you are guaranteed admittance to all six participating Washington four-year, public institutions.

Washington State Governor's Office of the Education Ombuds (OMBUDS)
The Washington State Office of Education Ombuds (OEO) listens, shares information and referrals, and works with families, communities, and schools to address concerns so that every student can fully participate and thrive in our state’s public schools. OEO provides support in multiple languages and has telephone interpretation available. The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about K-12 public schools.
OEO also has 1-page flyers translated into the following languages, which can be downloaded and printed, or copied and pasted into school newsletters or other school publications.
