The scholar’s attire is primarily the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians. Rainier Valley Leadership Academy is responsible for ensuring that scholar’s attire does not disrupt or interfere with the educational process which includes the health, safety, and emotional well-being of all scholars. Scholars' attire should not contribute to any hostile or intimidating atmosphere for scholars.

- Language or images that encourage the use of alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or drugs
- Language or images that depict illegal activity and/or create a hostile environment. Examples include:
